What Lies Ahead: Envisioning New Futures for Feminist Philosophy
23 October 2009, 5:00-6:30

In this closing keynote panel, five feminist scholars who are comparatively new to the field took stock of the conference as a whole, with the aim of identifying key priorities for future work in feminist philosophy. The lines of inquiry they identified as most engaging and most pressing for feminist philosophers include, centrally, the need to vigorously counteract the continued marginalization of “minoritized” women in philosophy, both within the networks of scholars who do feminist philosophy and in the philosophies they produce.
